Monday 8 rounds for time: -6 Deadlifts (185/125) -8 HSPU -10 lateral burpees over bar
A little story for everyone that didn't want to sign up for the open. I know we all have our reasons and I am in no way bashing anyone that decided not to. This is Abby. Abby did not want to sign up for the open. She told me I was crazy. I almost had to sign her up myself haha. Well she PR'd her clean after 4 failed attempts and then went on to do it again. If nothing else good comes out of the open I'd say it was worth it. The open is all about pushing yourself to do things you typically would not do in a class setting where you are "comfortable getting a good workout in". As a coach, to see her hit that weight was an awesome feeling and I am so proud of her. If you hit a PR or just did something you are super proud of, post it to our Facebook page and let us know about it. For those who did not register this year, this is why we try to get everyone involved!! Not only does it make the wods more fun and challenging, but you may really surprise yourself.
